# User Guide

To manage the user guide content and generate a user guide please select the "User Guide" admin from the left hand menu.

User guide content is divided into several parts as below:-
- Cover page
- Attribution content
- About Clidesc (Section 1)
- User Guide (Section 2)
- Product Generator (Section 3)
- Appendix (Section 4)

## Cover page
You can add content (Title, Logo, Cover Image, Version content and footer logo) for "Cover Page" using the user guide admin "Cover Page" tab in the CMS.

You can add a "Attribution Content" which will be displayed after the Cover Page in the user guide.

After adding "Cover Page" content and "Attribution Content" please click on the green "Save" button to save the content.

## Content pages
"Content Pages" tab in the CMS User Admin displays all the pages apart from "Error Page" and "Catalogue Page" from the CMS SiteTree.

You can choose which page you want to include in the user guide by checking the check-box "Include in user guide" and also you can choose the section (About Clidesc, User Guide and Appendix) as well for the content using "User Guide section" drop-down.

Also you can choose the display order for the content pages using drag and drop in the grid view.

## Product Generators
"Product Generators" tab in the CMS displays list of "Catalogue Page".

You can choose the product generators which you want to include in the user guide and you can change display order using drag and drop in the grid view.

## Generate User Guide
To generate the user guide please click on the "Generate User Guide" button in the user guide Admin. It opens a new tab to generate a PDF file.

> Note: User Guide generation could take some minutes to generate a PDF file depending on the number of pages selected.
