# CliDEsc Documentation

The CliDEsc system is built using the SilverStripe framework and CMS.

CliDEsc has two key user screens, the CliDEsc application or more commonly referred to as "the front end" commonly used by the primary user; and the CliDEsc administration screen, used by CliDEsc administrators to configure and set up the CliDEsc application.

This section describes how to use the CliDEsc administration area.
